Recommendations for optimum use of this new format
HOW TO CONTROL A FLASHPAPER DOCUMENT
Macromedia Flashpaper® is an extremely versatile format that, like Acrobat PDF, allows for extremely high-quality reproduction of originals across all major computer platforms. The advantage of Flashpaper® is that it does so at a fraction of the bandwidth cost of PDF, thereby serving complex documents at a faster rate. From here on out, ANIMAL PEOPLE will offer its online editions in both regular HTML pages and Flashpaper®.
Navigating through a Flashpaper® document is easy and highly intuitive, as it follows the established standards of Acrobat PDF. Please familiarize yourself with the command console reproduced below. And welcome to our new Flashpaper® editions!
NOTE: Some computer | browser configurations may not respond to some commands when viewing a Flashpaper edition. The SEARCH command, for example, may be disabled in some older machines. YOU MUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE THE LATEST VERSION OF FLASHPLAYER® (free) INSTALLED IN YOUR MACHINE(S).
While performing a document search, remember that in Flashpaper® after you insert the text to be searched and click RETURN [or on the magnifying glass icon] only one instance will be shown. To see all other possible instances of the same term just keep clicking on the search tool (the magnifying glass).

Note, as well, that the Flashpaper® edition may show some empty spaces between articles's text. This is because in some editions we have stripped the commercial advertising content in order to make the file lighter for download to your computer. In the near future, as compression standards improve, we will be posting the exact, complete edition of each of our issues.
