Spanish Animal Rights Demonstration in front of ruling party's HQ
The animal rights movement has made great strides in Spain in the last 10 years. Bullfighting—a vile and emblematic activity still practiced in many parts of the nation as a tribute to "tradition"— tops the list of activism, but no issue is neglected. Note the use of pots to make noise—banging pots (("caceroladas") has become a common practice in many demonstrations throughout the Hispanic world.
